Zero Biometrics & No Facial Recognition
V Mingle does not analyze, scan, classify, or store facial geometries, biometrics, gender identity, or demographic data. Your video feed is yours alone and is never processed by facial classification algorithms.
No User Accounts or Profile Tracking
We believe the best privacy guarantee is not collecting your data in the first place. You do not need to register, provide an email, connect a social account, or create a password to use V Mingle.
Encrypted Peer-to-Peer Streaming
Video and voice data are transmitted directly between peers via WebRTC using DTLS and SRTP encryption. Our servers help negotiate the connection and do not record, tap, or store your private video conversations.
Ephemeral, Tab-Isolated Session Storage
We generate a cryptographically signed anonymous session token stored solely in your browser's sessionStorage and HttpOnly session cookies. It ensures connection stability if your WiFi blips, and automatically purges when you close the tab.
1. Information We Do NOT Collect
Unlike conventional social media and video platforms, V Mingle intentionally avoids collecting personal identifying information (PII). We do NOT collect or store: ā¢ Your name, address, email address, or phone number ā¢ Biometric data, facial feature coordinates, or gender categorization ā¢ Contacts, address books, or external social media profiles ā¢ Continuous browsing habits across other websites
2. Technical Data Processed for Connection & Safety
To deliver real-time video chat, our backend processes the minimum technical telemetry necessary: ā¢ Ephemeral Session Identifiers: A unique cryptographically signed UUID (e.g. sess_...) used strictly to pair users in the queue and recover temporary connection drops without mixing chats. ā¢ Network Routing Data: IP addresses and ICE candidates are utilized by signaling servers to establish peer connections and protect our servers against malicious DDoS and bot flooding. We never use IP addresses as a personal identity key. ā¢ Optional Interest Tags: Topic tags you voluntarily enter (e.g., #music, #tech) are used exclusively to match you with compatible chat partners and are discarded upon session teardown.
3. Direct Peer-to-Peer Communication (WebRTC)
Real-time video and audio feeds travel directly between you and your chat partner via standard WebRTC peer connections. These media streams are encrypted end-to-end between browsers using DTLS-SRTP protocols. V Mingle does not record, archive, or sell any video or audio streams.
4. User Reports & Moderation Safety
When a user submits a report concerning inappropriate conduct or violation of our Community Rules, our safety service records: ā¢ The anonymous match identifier and timestamp ā¢ The selected category of violation (e.g., harassment, spam, illicit content) ā¢ Ephemeral network identifiers of the reported party for automated abuse throttling This data is utilized strictly for community security, spam prevention, and legal compliance.
5. Cookies & Local Browser Storage
We do not use tracking cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party advertising cookies. We only use functional session storage and a secure HttpOnly session cookie (vmingle_sess) to preserve continuity during an active chat session. You can clear this data at any time by closing your browser tab or clearing browser cache.
6. Children's Privacy (Under 18 Notice)
V Mingle is strictly intended for individuals 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly solicit or collect information from children. If we become aware that a minor has accessed the platform, we take immediate measures to terminate their access.
